Jane Massey Licata has a strong technical background in biology and biochemistry having received her Ph.D. in 1978. A practicing attorney since 1984, Dr. Licata has extensive experience in biotechnology patent prosecution practice and FDA regulatory compliance and approvals. Kathleen A. Tyrrell received her B.S. in Toxicology in 1987 and obtained substantial experience as a research scientist prior to receiving her J.D. in 1993. As an attorney, Ms. Tyrrell's practice has been focused primarily on biotechnology patent prosecution with particular expertise in drug development and methodologies, as well as molecular diagnostics, stem cells and antibodies. Ms. Tyrrell is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and is a registered patent attorney.
Laura M. Plunkett has her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Georgia. After serving on the faculty of the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for several years, her focus turned to working with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on FDA and patent matters. Dr. Plunkett is a registered patent agent.
Jenifer Gorlach received her Ph.D. in Molecular Plant Pathology from the DOE-Plant Research Laboratory at Michigan State University. Dr. Gorlach has worked in both the pharmaceutical and agricultural arenas and is a technical advisor.
